“Unbelievable!”

Reviewed 7 January 2012

I honestly can not speak highly enough about this hotel! anyone who has rated it at even a 4 is crazy! Me and my girlfriend went to blackpool to celebrate our 2 years together and the second we pressed the door bell we were greeted with an amazingly welcoming smile appearing from the back room (steve). I have never felt so welcome to arrive at a place in my entire life. We were shown to our room (where we had wine and a beautiful box of chocolates waiting) and we got settled in.It was beautiful and so clean! Shortly after this i went downstairs to pay the bill and even for something as basic as that i felt as if it wasn’t a problem that I’d called the other owner (Dean) from his back room, I’d have at least shown some signs of irritation but there was none from him. he directed me to the car park also and even went to change my note so that I could pay for the car park. We spent most of the day out and about and it was the same the next day but on returning we popped into the bar for an hour with the owners and another couple. it was so friendly and it felt like I’d known these guys for so long. I can not praise this hotel enough, I wish I could but you would have to go there yourself to see just how fantastic it is

me, my partner and her parents stayed here for 4 nights. when we arrived it was a very warm welcome from dave. the rooms we stayed in was lovely they had everything u needed (a double bed with bedside lamp, en suite bathroom, wardrobe, TV with freeview and tea/coffee making facilities).the breakfast was absolutely beautiful and a lovely selection. dean and steve was very helpful when it came to good places to see and eat. they mentioned madame tussauds, sea life centre the tower the dungeons and the legends bar which we went to on the saturday and oh my god it was a great night we arrived there and within 10 minutes we was served with a cold meat salad with help yourself home made coleslaw, potato sald, bread butter and mayo there was also a compimentary bucks fizz. the music was great there was 4 acts (elvis, george michael, rod stuart and freddie mercury). they also recomended the crown which is a pub about 10 min walk from the B&B which did a lovely carvery. i cant wait to go to blackpool again and we will definately be stayin here again they both couldnt do enough for u cheers guys for the great hospitality

Excellent Hotel and Service.”

me and my partner found this hotel to stay at for a few days, when we turned up to start our holiday, we thought it was a lovely looking hotel, outside and indoors. we had a very warm welcome by steve and of course his lovely dog Ralph. The room we stayed in was lovely and the bed was very comfy, along with the sheets always being clean.
The breakfasts were also very nice so overall it was a great place and we enjoyed our stay! id recommend this hotel to anyone visiting blackpool. infact we came back to visit dean and steve this year whom met our daughter who i was pregnant with when i stayed at the hotel. we will be back too.
It is very well priced and close to the beach aswell.
thank you steve and dean. xxx

The abbey lodge is the best b and b I have ever stayed in. Dean and Steve make you feel really welcome as soon as you walk in the door to the moment you leave. The breakfasts in the morning were absolutely delicious and adequate enough to fill you up for a busy day of site seeing. The bar was a very nice touch to have in a b and b and had everything we wanted to drink including enough shots to start our night out. It is in a perfect position also. Not too far from all amenities and car parking was reasonable price.
I would recommend this b and b to everyone the price and service were amazing and the rooms were perfect I could not have asked for a better place to stay and when I do get around to coming back the Blackpool again abbey lodge is where I would be staying.
Thanks for everything Steve and Dean you were amazing.

I went with my partner and my parents. We had a fantastic stay. The rooms were clean and well decorated, the food was delicious and both hosts very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well situated within easy walking distance of some great attractions and we would definitely recommend you to others!

Firstly you will see my commnet for this hotel titled “Nothing” as I had previously visited and never got in due to not been informed by last minute that my dates were not available.

Well again I am going to be honest about my review, everything was excellent and the six of us that came down too Blackpool thought the time spent at the Abbey Lodge was very good.

The title for this review “A great hotel to be in very clean and the owners were very helpfull and friendly.” says it all for us. The owners were not only very willing to help their guests but also help neighbouring owners with things they needed, it made the place feel very much like the old streets I lived in when I was young were everyone was willing to help out no matter what.

I would certainly recommend a visit to the Abbey Lodge becuase of the location, premises and the woners knowlede of the area and their willingness to help.
